Auditions for the 2nd annual San Francisco Young Playwrights Festival:
Saturday, March 17, 2007
9:00am to 3:00pm
San Francisco
Exact location will be sent to actors once they have registered for an audition.

The San Francisco Young Playwrights Festival is an annual production featuring the work of talented high school students. This year we will produce four short plays by the winning playwrights. The show will receive a weekend run from May 18-20, 2007 at City College of San Francisco’s Diego Rivera Theatre. This production is non-Equity, no pay.

Actors will audition ONCE and may be called back for any role in any of the four plays. Callbacks will be held the following week at the discretion of the directors.

Festival Fun Begins Soon!
The Sixth Annual Bay One-Acts (BOA) Festival is almost here!
Ten new plays and the talents of dozens of Bay Area artists…Hey, you may know some!…Ten playwrights, ten directors, designers, tech folk and more than forty actors from all over the Bay Area.
It’s a blast!

Program One runs February 15-18 at the Eureka Theatre with three new scripts:

"Caution: The (Roughly) True Story of My Parents’ Romance" by Lauren D. Yee, examines how cautious some parents can be and how it took four years for a father to ask his future wife for a date!

"The Pet Dog with the Lady" by Scott Munson, is a spoof on Chekhov and portrays an ageing Don Juan putting the make on a lady sitting with her pet Pomeranian!

In a most unusual protest against "the Man", a celebrity Chef in "The Pheasant", by Isaiah Dufort, cooks his last meal before the Government shuts down his restaurant!
